SOUTH ORANGE, New Jersey (2 August 2022) - The collective dreams of a record number of Caribbean students who are pursuing further education in tourism and related subjects are closer to becoming a reality with financial support from the region’s premier tourism education charity.

Twelve applicants from ten Caribbean countries have been offered scholarships and study grants from the CTO Scholarship Foundation for the 2022/23 academic year, after new donors joined existing sponsors in responding to the foundation’s plea for funding.

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados (21 July 2021) – A Barbadian certified landscape ecologist with a passion for promoting a sustainable environment for all living species is the recipient of the first-ever Caribbean Tourism Organization Scholarship Foundation’s Thomas J. Greenan Scholarship introduced this year for studies in agro/gastronomy-related subjects.

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados (8 April 2021) – For the first time since its founding 24 years ago, the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) Scholarship Foundation will this year fund a scholarship for studies in agro/gastronomy-related subjects.

The foundation is this year introducing the Thomas J. Greenan Scholarship, which will provide financial support to Caribbean nationals pursuing qualification in this field or in community-based or sustainable tourism.
